Very Late...So Sorry!

Hi All!

First, I want to say that I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas, I know I did! Second, I know that I've been terrible about making posts on time and I'm very sorry; I'm making it my New Year's resolution to do better! I also have some good news. I finally finished Lost in Shadows a couple of weeks ago and I'm planning to start work on the next book in the series right after New Years! I also finally got a sponsor that is willing to lend me a hand with the publication of Into the Shadows so things should get back on track soon! Incredibly late...many apologies!

Hi All!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and I apologize for the delay...there hasn't been a lot to report until today...I have good news and bad news to share. First the bad news...my sponsor fell through on the publication of Into the Shadows, so it is still on hold for the time being...but I am still hoping to be able to continue the publication soon! Now the good news, I have finally completed the draft for Lost in Shadows and will begin the editing process within the next couple of days! I will you keep you updated with any new information, and I appreciate your patience greatly! Just bear with me and Shadow-Kissed will have its time to shine!

A Little Late...Sorry!

Hi All,

I apologize for being a little late this week and there isn't a lot to report. I'm still making progress on Lost in Shadows and I'm confident that I will finish by the end of next week! I am still working with a potential sponsor and it seems pretty promising and I will begin working on the next book at the beginning of next month!

That's all I have for now and as usual it's back to work for me!

Busy Busy Busy

Hi all!

I have good news and bad news...the good news is that I am still making tremendous progress on Lost in Shadows, but the bad news is that over the weekend I had an issue with the device I use to store my work as I write and lost a large portion of my writing from last week which has set me back about a week on the finish date. I'm quickly making up the lost work, but unfortunately it will not be finished by the end of the month. My new goal is to finish by the second week of next month and with the progress I have already made, along with adding extra backup to my saved work to prevent any future loss, I feel confident that I will meet this goal. I was nearly finished over the weekend with only about 25 pages, (around 9,000 words) left to go and the loss set me back to about 60 pages (around 20,000 words) left. This may sound like a lot, but with the pacing I have set it will actually go fairly quickly. I don't have anything new to report on Into the Shadows, but I will of course announce any information as soon as I can! Finally getting back on track!

Hi All!

I'm finally getting back on track with 'Lost in Shadows' and I'm in the homestretch of finishing. I'm still on track to finish by the end of the month and will start working on the next one in November! New, Home New Inspiration...Finally Back to Work!

Hi All,

I apologize that I haven't posted in a while, there hasn't been a lot to report. I moved into a new apartment and have finally gotten back to work on 'Lost in Shadows'. There isn't really anything new to report on 'Into the Shadows' as I am still unable to make the publishing payments so the process is still on hold. However, there may be light at the end of the tunnel as I think I may have found a willing sponsor who will give me a little financial boost! I won't say the name, but I am very grateful for them! As for 'Lost in Shadows' I am officially in the homestretch of finally being finished with it! My new goal is to have it finished by the end of the month, I know I've said that before, but this time I am actually going to do it!

Apologies

Hi all!

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been super busy with finishing 'Lost in Shadows' and working with my publisher. I'm afraid I have some bad news however, I was unable to continue making the payments necessary to complete the publication of 'Into the Shadows' so all production has been placed on hold until I can resume payments. This will not affect my work on the rest of the series and I will resume the payments as soon as I possibly can. I offer my sincerest apologies for this disappointment and I am doing everything I can to get things back on track.

Finally Back to Work!

Hi all!

This update was actually supposed to be posted last week but I had some technical difficulties with the site and wasn't able to post it...I apologize for the delay!

Now on to the actual post...

I'm finally back to work and feeling better! There isn't a whole lot to report this week, but my publisher has informed me that my manuscript for 'Into the Shadows' will be assigned to an editor later this month which means that it shouldn't be too much longer until I get to review any final changes before it is moved into production! I am once again making steady progress on 'Lost in Shadows', so I plan to have it finished and ready for my publisher by the end of the month...hopefully I can meet my goal this time!

A Little Delayed....Sorry!

Hi All,

Sorry it's a day late, but I haven't heard anything from my publisher this week so there really isn't any news on 'Into the Shadows', but i can tell you that the release is still set for May of 2015 and that I look forward to doing any signings my publisher can offer! As I posted last week, I have been fighting a losing battle with a cold on top of seasonal allergies so I haven't exactly been myself this week and I have fallen behind on progress on 'Lost in Shadows'. I don't think it will be finished this month, but I will have it finished by the middle of next month for sure! I will keep you updated on my progress as well as any new information I receive from my publisher!

Hi all!

I apologize that I don't have any major news to share this week. I e-mailed my publisher for a progress report but haven't heard back yet. I've been fighting a losing battle with a cold this week, but I did manage to get about two-thirds of the way finished with Lost in Shadows and I'm still on track to finish it by the end of the month and I will announce any updates I receive!

Spring Break

It's Spring Break for me and I'm spending it with my family while I get caught up on my writing...I definitely have plenty of company and inspiration. Just wanted to give a quick update on my progress. I am officially half-way finished with "Lost in Shadows" and should be back on track by the end of the week! I also talked with my publisher and I should receive a copy of the edited manuscript soon and all I have to do is review any changes that have been made and approve it and it goes into production!

Writing, Writing, Writing...

Hi all!

Another busy day of classes and writing ahead of me today. Starting it off with coffee and the ending to another chapter...I just wanted give a quick update on my progress with Lost in Shadows...I'm half-way finished and behind due to a recent bombardment of exams and assignments in my classes, but I am getting caught up and I'm still on track to be finished by the end of March. I don't have any updates on the publication of Into the Shadows, but I will share any new information I receive!

Update!!

Hi all,

I know it's a little soon, but I just wanted to give a quick update on my second novel Lost in Shadows. I am working very diligently on it and have gotten about half way through it so far...it should be finished and ready for my publisher by the end of March!! I'll keep you posted if I have any more information!!

Intoduction Time!

First things first, I just wanted to let everyone know a little bit about me and what to expect from my blog. I'm currently a Justice Administration major at the University of Louisville, I have recently finished the first novel, Into the Shadows in the series I'm working on, Shadow-Kissed and submitted the last of the paperwork to my publisher today so production will begin soon and the estimated release date is currently May 2015 but I'll keep you posted on any changes to that. My blog is going to be my way of keeping my readers in the know and with me every step of the way, from the first novel to the last one. I will try to make updates at least once every week and I apologize in advance if that doesn't always happen.
